Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy in a level 3 NICU setting, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Manage neonatal respiratory equipment including Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannulas, neonatal ventilators, high frequency oscillating ventilators, and nitric oxide therapy.
- Perform patient assessments and attend deliveries as required.
- Ensure compliance with neonatal care protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with medical team to deliver specialized respiratory support to neonatal patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Experience working with neonates, particularly in NICU environments.
- Ability to operate neonatal respiratory equipment and attend deliveries.
- Strong assessment skills applicable to neonatal and adult patients.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Neonatal Bubble CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannulas, Neonatal ventilators, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilators, and Nitric oxide therapy.
- Past experience working night shifts in a hospital setting.
- Strong assessment skills in adult respiratory care.
