• Night shifts, Full-time, Contract (13 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients within a 6-bed unit.
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, and warming devices.
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as spinal taps, intubation, and sedation management.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining appropriate patient ratios (1:1-2).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric ICU nursing experience.
• Ability to float to NICU or nursery and qualified to float to OB/GYN if applicable.
• Relevant experience with critical procedures and pediatric patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PICU or NICU experience preferred.
• Experience in women’s health areas such as labor and delivery or ob/gyn.
• Skilled in procedures like sedation titration, port access, and critical drip management.
