Job Title
• Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Location
• Fort Worth, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment, nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), approximately 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to ICU and CVICU patients, including ABG analysis, ventilator management, nitric oxide administration, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation support, nebulization, and HFNC therapy.
• Monitor and document patient status using EMR systems, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care, ensuring patient safety and comfort during respiratory interventions.
• Adapt to unit needs in a fast-paced hospital environment, displaying excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
• Maintain certification and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and hospital regulations.
Required Qualifications
• Current CRT or RRT licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• ICU experience (a must)
• Ability to work night shift hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Willingness to travel and work across various hospital units if needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
• CVICU experience
• Nitric oxide management knowledge
• Experience with a variety of respiratory equipment such as V60 ventilators, Hamilton C1, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, and AIRVO
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach
