Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Telemetry unit at Olathe Medical Center.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments such as cardiac drips, TR Band procedures, and initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to various acute care units as needed.
• Complete required orientation and documentation to ensure compliance with facility standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry experience.
• Experience with TR Band procedures, cardiac drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• Flexibility to work holidays as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2-5 years of Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Familiarity with acute care procedures and float requirements.
