Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days, 3x12s shifts, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., with holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized inpatient care to cardiac and cardiovascular patients in the CVICU.
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic health record system.
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including on-call as required.
- Float within scope to meet unit needs and assist sister facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of cardiac or critical care nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a CVICU or similar cardiac specialty unit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
