Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 12-hour night shifts, 12-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care in a busy emergency department, including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and psychiatric cases.
• Perform procedures such as U/S IV insertion, IO placement, laceration repair, and EKG interpretation.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely treatment.
• Utilize EMR systems to document patient encounters and manage patient care workflows.
• Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and policies, including protocols for lab work, imaging, and medication administration.
• Support a high-acuity patient population with complex comorbidities, ensuring compassionate and efficient patient care.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire or valid multi-state license.
• Minimum of 2 years emergency department experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (required for contract labor).
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of ED experience for HCA-hired staff.
• Additional certifications: MOAB, strong EKG interpretation skills.
• Experience with Sunrise or Allscripts EMR systems.
• Familiarity with trauma and psychiatric care procedures.
