Schedule / Job Type
- Nights, 12-hour shifts, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an adult critical care environment, including IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units.
- Assist with procedures such as thoracentesis, vent management, A-lines, central lines, and dressing changes.
- Monitor and document patient conditions using electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or relevant state.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- At least 2 years of RN experience, with prior ICU or Stepdown/Progressive Care experience.
- Comfortable performing procedures such as thoracentesis, vent management, and line insertions.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
- Outgoing personality with strong teamwork skills.
