Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT scans using Siemens equipment in a busy hospital environment.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols, including badge compliance.
- Provide quality patient care during nuclear medicine procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff for appropriate imaging and patient positioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
- Work a flexible schedule with shifts varying between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM, with some Saturdays for weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography (SCRQSA).
- Certification as NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N).
- Certification in NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT).
- Current BLS certification.
- Radiation badge from agency (must be supplied, as MUSC does not provide).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT scanners.
- Prior work in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting.
- Ability to float between service lines and facilities if needed.
