Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition throughout procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to prepare and assist in cardiac cath lab and EP procedures.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or electrophysiology setting.
- Ability to work 10.5-hour shifts.
- Strong understanding of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in cardiology or acute care units.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
