- Registered Nurse - Mother Baby / Postpartum
Location
- Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns in a Mother Baby unit
- Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and overall health status
- Educate new mothers on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or ASN/BSN degree
- Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license
- CPR certification
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, assist with lifting 100 pounds (heavy lifting may be required in some departments)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in postpartum or maternal-child nursing preferred
- Additional certifications relevant to postpartum or mother-baby care
