Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy services in accordance with Alaska’s scope of practice.
- Conduct therapy treatments across all patient age groups and diagnoses, including home visits and village travel.
- Collaborate regularly with medical providers to develop and modify patient care plans.
- Incorporate evidence-based practices into individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and professional conduct while delivering patient care.
- Support the organization’s mission to achieve excellent health through multidisciplinary teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Alaska state licensure or licensure pending in Alaska with a good-standing license from another state.
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical literature and occupational therapy resources.
- Effective communication skills with diverse populations, including non-English speakers.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior clinical experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with hospital-based equipment such as ultrasound, electric stimulation, and ADL training tools.
- Experience working in rural or village healthcare settings is advantageous.

- Orientation sessions are held weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
