Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time (13-week contract)
• Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting accurately in Meditech documentation system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain bedside reporting and establish personal connections with patients.
• Follow unit policies and procedures, including float policies to Med/Surg/Tele units as needed.
• Adhere to hospital dress code (black scrubs) and safety certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in Virginia.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week, with rotating weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Familiarity with bedside reporting and patient engagement.
• Comfortable floating to Med/Surg/Tele units as required.
