Job Title:

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location:

• Salem, VA

Schedule / Job Type:

• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Nights shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide postoperative patient care in a Med Surg unit.
• Manage drains and perform wound care, including dressing changes.
• Monitor and maintain patient conditions, ensuring optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Utilize EMR systems to document patient information accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay.

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with postoperative patient care.
• Competent in dressing changes, wound management, and drain care.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Familiarity with post-operative patient management.
• Experience with wound care and drain maintenance.
