Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PACU

• Herrin, IL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 10-hour shifts, rotating days off, on-call every 3-4 days, float to sister facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs upon arrival to the PACU.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families.
• Utilize clinical judgment to identify and report any changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices.
• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in PACU, ICU, Stepdown, or Cardiac Care units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiac, neonatal, or pediatric critical care settings
• Ability to float between different specialized units as needed
• Strong assessment and patient care skills in a fast-paced environment
