Full-time, 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, rotating days off, 13-week assignment, on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment, including complex angioplasties and CTO procedures
- Circulate during procedures, monitor patient status, and assist with high-acuity interventional cardiology cases
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, with a 30-minute callback time
- Adhere to all safety and procedural protocols, including conscious sedation and sterile techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care before, during, and after procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years recent experience in a Cath Lab, with multi-specialty lab skills
- Illinois RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with complex angioplasty, CTOs, and high-acuity interventional procedures
- Ability to circulate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EP, IR, or similar specialized labs
- Background in CCU or ER environments
- Certified in conscious sedation and able to manage complex interventional procedures
- Prior success in travel assignments involving high-volume Cath Lab cases
