Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3 shifts per week, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to adult patients in the IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage cardiac drips with familiarity in Epic.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and timely in EPIC electronic charting system.
- Float within scope to multiple hospital locations within a 20-mile radius as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PCU and ICU settings.
- Valid nursing license for the state of Florida.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications current at the time of submission.
- NIHSS certification obtained prior to start.
- Epic experience must be a 3 or 4 level.
- Familiarity with cardiac drips required.
- Nicotine-free status and negative 10-panel drug screen required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a teaching or trauma hospital.
- Ability to prioritize time-sensitive modules efficiently.
- Experience with time management in high-pressure environments.
