Job Title

• Tech - Sterile Processing Tech

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time (rotating shifts, 1 shift per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and distribute designated supplies to assigned areas.
• Ensure all equipment and instruments are available and ready for each surgical case.
• Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments according to industry standards.
• Complete and verify accuracy of instrument count sheets.
• Assist operating room staff in locating and preparing instruments as needed.
• Maintain sterilization records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Reestablish a clean and safe environment post-procedure, including room and equipment turnover.
• Prepare and maintain surgical supplies and specialty equipment such as laryngoscope blades, tubing, filters, ultrasound, fluid/blood warmers, and specialty pumps.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Sterile Processing.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital sterile processing department.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and regulatory standards.
