Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit with a focus on critical care.
• Manage cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line care.
• Conduct hourly rounding and bedside shift reports for all assigned patients.
• Support patient safety and recovery through comprehensive monitoring and intervention.
• Float within scope across inpatient units as needed to meet facility demands.

Required Qualifications

• Valid IL nursing license or pending license accepted.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Self-sufficient with critical care skills, including management of cardiac patients.
• Comfortable working in a busy hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management.
• Prior experience working in a magnet hospital.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
