Job Title
• Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Assess clients/patients/residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for individuals with functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments.
• Help clients/patients/residents improve or recover their ability to perform daily tasks and occupations.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with departmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate clients/patients/residents to enhance understanding and functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including providers, case managers, and family members, to optimize care.

Required Qualifications
• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work weekdays, including occasional weekends every 4-6 weeks.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in acute care occupational therapy.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages with various diagnoses and disorders.
