- Temporary, 13-week assignment, Nights shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telemetry nursing care to cardiac patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor and respond to cardiac drips, including Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, Tikosyn, and Sotalol initiation
- Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for patient documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
- Float to all acute care units as needed during shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience
- Experience with TR Band procedures, cardiac drips, and drug initiation processes
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2-5 years of telemetry nursing experience
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
- Experience working in a cardiac care environment with multiple cardiac medications

Notes
- Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable onboarding at the main campus and additional training at the Olathe facility
- Willingness to work holidays (Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day) and every other weekend rotation
- Cancellations allowed at no cost with minimum 2-hour notice, communicated via Smart Square app
- Start date: December 1, with orientation scheduled accordingly
