• Full-time, 13-week assignment, day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical/Surgical department for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Work collaboratively with a team of nurses and a hospitalist physician.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established medical protocols.
• Work scheduled 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.
• Float to other departments as qualified before core staff are floated, ensuring proper patient care coverage.
• Deliver quality nursing care with minimal supervision, demonstrating clinical expertise and independence.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience.
• Valid RN license for the state of Oregon.
• Current licensing in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in Medical/Surgical units.
• Strong adaptability and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in rural healthcare facilities is a plus.
