Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, short-term contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including those undergoing stem cell transplants and chemotherapy administration
- Interpret and manage EKGs, including dysrhythmia management, following passing of the Relias EKG exam
- Float to various units within the oncology department as needed, ensuring coverage across the facility
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during treatments and procedures
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including mandatory BCLS certification
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in oncology or related units
- Ability to pass the Relias EKG interpretation exam
- BCLS certification required
- Willingness to float across units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemo certification or experience preferred
- Previous experience with auto stem cell transplants and chemotherapy administration
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
