Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a busy ER environment
- Administer medications, perform IV starts, and assist with procedures such as sedations and pediatrics
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with medical team members to deliver quality care in a fast-paced setting
- Follow unit policies and protocols, including medication and patient scanning procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC certifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Previous travel or large facility ER experience (52+ beds preferred)
- Ability to handle a high-paced ER environment and adapt quickly
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification
- Experience working in a 52-bed ER or larger facility
- Experience with pediatric patient care and sedations
