- Contractor / Travel, 13-week assignment, nights shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment during night shifts.
- Perform patient assessments, IV starts, and administer medications.
- Conduct 12-lead EKGs and assist with patient monitoring and treatment procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Less than 2 years of emergency room experience.
- Strong assessment and IV skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in using EMR systems such as Meditech.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED).
- Familiarity with emergency procedures such as EKG interpretation and patient assessments.
- Prior work with ventilator and point-of-care lab equipment.
- Team-oriented and helpful personality with a collaborative approach.
