Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in an acute care hospital setting
- Manage ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and oxygen therapy
- Assist with intubation procedures and ABG analysis
- Monitor and respond to patient respiratory needs with critical thinking and attention to detail
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety and optimal care
Required Qualifications
- Valid license with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC credential)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with ventilators, critical care, and acute patient management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in neonatal intensive care (NICU), PICU, trauma, or emergency departments
- Ventilator management and advanced respiratory procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
