Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient speech therapy services in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital and inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Conduct modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) in radiology as required
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for adult patients
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions to facilitate patient recovery and communication skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and therapy details in electronic medical records

Required Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in acute care hospital or LTAC settings with trauma experience preferred
• Proven expertise in significant skilled procedures, especially MBSS studies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, inpatient hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar inpatient rehab setting
• Skilled at handling complex cases requiring advanced assessment and treatment techniques
• Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic clinical settings
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
