Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to urgent situations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during labor and delivery.
- Document patient care accurately using hospital systems.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and best practices in obstetric care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Labor and Delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid Ohio license or current Compact State license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shifts in a Labor and Delivery unit.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
