• Days shifts, approximately 10.5 hours per shift
• 4 shifts per week
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 17, 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room as a surgical technologist with First Assist responsibilities.
• Serve as a patient advocate during procedures, acting as a resource for the sterile field.
• Support surgical teams during complex procedures such as total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic surgeries.
• Collaborate with circulating nurses and surgical staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols while maintaining a positive team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist (CSTFA) through NBSTSA
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience as a CSTFA or in a similar role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a circulating technologist
• Knowledge of vein harvesting procedures
• Familiarity with robotic surgical cases (e.g., Xi robotic platform)
• Ability to manage diverse surgical procedures including total joints and spine surgeries
