Registered Nurse - ICU

Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 36 hours/week, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients in a 20-bed unit with a patient ratio of 2:1.
• Manage advanced procedures including arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients.
• Document patient care using Meditech electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and available tech support to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit-specific guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year critical care experience.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• Certified in NIH Stroke Scale or similar (preferred).
• Ability to manage complex ICU patient needs including central lines and vasopressor management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators.
• Strong critical thinking and procedural skills.
• Previous travel or agency nursing experience (preferred).
