Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Nashville, TN
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
• Manage care of laboring patients and immediate postpartum newborns
• Circulate and recover C-section patients efficiently and safely
• Support shared decision-making with patients and their families
• Document patient care using hospital systems such as CPN and Meditach
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery nursing experience
• Valid RN license
• Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (or CEFM), ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Proven experience caring for laboring patients, delivering newborn care, and performing procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tub labor
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with advanced equipment and new technology in labor and delivery units
• Knowledge of hospital policies and unit-specific protocols
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
