- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, variable schedule including weekends, temp-to-hire options
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum, antepartum, pediatric, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients
- Care for newborns, postpartum women, stable antepartum, and pediatric patients, including GYN and Med-Surg overflow cases
- Assist as the second RN in Special Care Nursery (SCN) and support various units as needed
- Utilize equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Responder 5 Call Light System, and Medfusion Pumps
- Support patient care while floating to other units like Telemetry and Med-Surg in accordance with staffing needs and union contract guidelines
- Participate in unit orientation and equipment training on the first day
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years OB/L&D experience
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
- Active ACLS (AHA) certification
- Active NRP certification
- Valid Minnesota RN license
- Ability to work in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, and Pediatric units
- Must have SNSA certification (proof required of agency registration with the MN state)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification
- EPIC electronic medical record experience or other EMR systems
- Willingness to float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed
