• Registered Nurse - PICU

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 3x12 rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in a high-acuity pediatric intensive care unit for patients with complex conditions such as injury, respiratory failure, shock, and post-operative cardiac or neurosurgical needs.
• Administer ventilator support and monitor multiple critical monitors including CVP and EKG.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver standard nursing practice aligned with unit protocols.
• Float within scope to accommodate unit needs, including potential work in NICU and CVPICU.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, including documentation using Epic.
• Participate in weekend rotations with a flexible schedule, ensuring coverage during peak times.
Required Qualifications
• Valid California RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent, independent PICU nursing experience within the last year.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience with ventilators, multiple monitors, specifically CVP and EKG.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but first-time travelers with strong PICU background are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in a teaching or Magnet-recognized hospital setting is a plus.
