Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and neuro intensive care patients in the CVICU
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to critical changes promptly
- Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including working across similar units or facilities
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including holiday and weekend rotations
- Document patient information accurately using Epic charting system
Required Qualifications
- Valid SC state or Compact nursing license in hand prior to start
- At least 1 year of recent CVICU, cardiac, or neuro ICU experience (preferably 2 years)
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with cardiac and neuro patients in acute care settings
- Ability to work flexible schedules and handle high-acuity situations
