Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document care precisely using electronic health records
- Participate in on-call rotations and float within scope to meet unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (2+ preferred)
- Valid SC or Compact nursing license in hand prior to start
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHS certifications
- Cardiac and Neuro experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous SICU or critical care experience
- Strong skills in advanced cardiac and neuro patient management
