Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Provide instruction, behavioral support, and accommodations tailored to each student's needs
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
Required Qualifications
- Valid state Special Education teaching certification/license
- Experience working with students with diverse special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to create inclusive learning environments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a school-based setting in Miami or Florida
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and assistive technologies
