Travel, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and re-assess patient progress regularly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, physicians, patients, and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform Point of Care testing and other critical nursing interventions according to established standards.
- Document patient progress, interventions, and discharge planning accurately and timely.
- Assist with orientation and mentorship of new staff and students, promoting a positive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ACLS and PALS certifications from the AHA, or equivalent.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong communication skills and current knowledge of emergency nursing practices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
- Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control protocols.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
