Travel, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and re-assess patient progress regularly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, physicians, patients, and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform Point of Care testing and other critical nursing interventions according to established standards.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and discharge planning accurately and timely.
• Assist with orientation and mentorship of new staff and students, promoting a positive team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS and PALS certifications from the AHA, or equivalent.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills and current knowledge of emergency nursing practices.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
• Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control protocols.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
