• Travel, 13-week assignment, nights shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients in a hospital setting during night shifts.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures such as dressing changes and aspiration.
• Monitor patient recovery and manage pain, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (Meditech).
• Uphold unit policies and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a surgical or orthopedic unit.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload of approximately 5 patients.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• Must be available for night shift hours.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior orthopedic or surgical nursing experience.
• Pain management expertise.
• Experience with orthopedic procedures such as dressing changes and aspiration.
