• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours), eligible for 4x12s if preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within telemetry, neuro stepdown, and PCU units, following facility protocols
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias and utilizing rapid response teams as needed
• Administer IV medications, manage vascular access devices, and perform procedures such as sheath removal and care of cardiac patients
• Care for post-operative, trauma, and complex medical patients, including post-cardiac angiogram and CVA cases
• Manage ventilated patients, chest tubes, and advanced airway devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in critical care, telemetry, or stepdown units
• BLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, and emergency response
• Experience with complex patient populations including cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and respiratory cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Magnet or teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma center experience
• Proficiency with Cerner or similar EHR systems
