• Full-time, travel, overnight shifts (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with neurological and cardiac conditions in a specialized Heart Failure / Stroke Unit.
• Float to different units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and neurologists to deliver precise and compassionate care.
• Adhere to best practices and standards of care for complex neuro-cardiac patients.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech electronic medical records.
• Comply with hospital policies, including holidays and weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing.
• Active Alabama or Compact RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience; will consider 18 months with significant experience in the specialty.
• Experience working with neuro-cardiac patient populations preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Stroke or Cardiac unit.
• Ability to float between units and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical skills in acute care settings.
