Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor and manage critically ill adult patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiac equipment including ventilators, CRRT, Impella, Swan-Ganz catheters, and arterial lines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (Meditech).
• Adhere to unit policies, including weekend shifts and availability for on-call as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU).
• Ventilator management skills.
• Experience with arterial/central lines, chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring.
• Certification in critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN) preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous CVICU experience, including CABG recovery and CRRT.
• Meditech EMR experience.
• BSN degree.
• Knowledge of Impella devices.
