• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Dayshift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on ortho, trauma, post-caths, and other surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and perform assessments to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications including blood products, heparin, Bumex, Lasix, and other treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including nurses, CNA’s, and monitor techs, to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Follow unit policies such as bedside shift reports, safety rounds, and proper clocking procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas or appropriate compact licensing.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a Med Surg setting.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to work dayshift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Prior experience with orthopedic and trauma patient care.
