Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel, seasonal assignment, day shift (7 AM - 7 PM), 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to neuro and medical-surgical patients in a busy hospital unit
• Perform neuro assessments, stroke evaluations, fall risk assessments, trach care, and feeding tube management
• Utilize EMR systems (Meditech) and operate equipment such as IV pumps and seizure monitors
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit policies, including neuro clinical guidelines for stroke care
• Maintain a highly motivated, team-oriented approach with excellent critical thinking skills

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado or eligible for licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH stroke certification
• Heavy med-surg background, preferably with neuro experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification
• Neuro-specific procedures and assessments experience
• Prior experience with neuro patients and stroke protocols
