Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Conroe, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients on a specialized medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias or emergencies quickly and effectively.
- Collect patient data through assessments and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely updates in EMR.
- Assist physicians with procedures such as paracentesis and chest tube insertions.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Critical Thinking and prioritization skills essential for managing acute patient conditions.
- Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit.
- Charge nurse experience.
- Ultrasound IV insertion skills.
