• Full-time, 12-hour Night shifts, travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population in a busy hospital setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform procedures such as post-catheterizations, thoracentesis, and wound management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system.
• Support a fast-paced environment on a specialized ortho/spine unit with a focus on patient assessment and critical thinking.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred but not required.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with specialized procedures such as thoracentesis or post-catheterization care.
• Familiarity with equipment such as Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, and specialty beds.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies and protocols.
