Registered Nurse Observation

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Observation

Location
• Vero Beach, FL

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to patients in the Observation unit, monitoring vital signs and patient status
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations within scope of practice

Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 18 months of recent tele/acute care experience in a similar setting
• BLS certification (must be current)
• ACLS certification (must be current)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Negative 10 Panel drug screen and nicotine test within past 12 months
• BCI/FBI background checks completed within 48 hours of onboarding

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in observation or outpatient units preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
