Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients with complex GI diagnoses in a 21-bed inpatient unit
• Collaborate with healthcare team using a modified modular nursing model
• Manage patient care in a Level I Trauma Center with a focus on gastroenterology and bariatrics
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system
• Work rotating holiday shifts and weekends as required
• Float within scope to meet unit needs and ensure optimal patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to participate in holiday rotation and weekend scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in medical-surgical or gastrointestinal units
• Prior work in a teaching or Magnet hospital environment
• Ability to adapt to modular nursing models and EMR systems
• Prior experience with patient populations involving bariatric and autologous islet cell therapies
