Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for labor and delivery patients within the scope of practice
• Provide education to patients based on their individual needs
• Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders accurately
• Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
• Maintain compliance with clinical standards and participate in ongoing education

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Completion of the Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring class within the first year of employment
• Ability to work in a hospital setting, preferably with NICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hospital experience, ideally in labor and delivery or NICU settings
• Knowledge of electronic fetal monitoring, including advanced courses within the specified timeframes
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information effectively
