- Rotating shifts, full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for labor and delivery patients within the scope of practice
- Provide education to patients based on their individual needs
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders accurately
- Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards and participate in ongoing education
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Completion of the Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring class within the first year of employment
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, preferably with NICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital experience, ideally in labor and delivery or NICU settings
- Knowledge of electronic fetal monitoring, including advanced courses within the specified timeframes
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information effectively
