Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights, 13-week assignment, full-time (12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient status using telemetry and other advanced equipment.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders.
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, drain maintenance, and insertion of tubes.
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg or stepdown experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in starting IVs, basic wound care, and managing surgical drains and tubes.
• Possess valid BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with the specific equipment used in critical care, such as IV pumps, telemetry, and patient monitors.
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similar high-acuity setting.
