- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, days shift, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide circulating nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room
- Position patients, prep sterile fields, and monitor all surgical equipment during procedures
- Assist with orthopedic, plastics, podiatry, and other specialized surgeries such as joint replacements, breast reconstructions, and robotic surgeries
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Participate in on-call duties, typically 4-5 days per month, including one weekend
- Share staffing responsibilities across multiple hospital campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse with active licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a circulator or surgical technician (CST)
- Ability to position patients, prep for surgery, and monitor operative equipment
- Comfortable performing procedures in orthopedic, plastics, and podiatry surgeries
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with total joints, hip replacements, tibia/fibula surgeries, foot and ankle procedures, and breast reconstructions
- Experience with robotic surgical systems (e.g., XI and DV5) is a plus
- Positive attitude, hard worker, willing to take trauma call
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
