Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights shift, 36 hours per week, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care to a variety of medical and surgical patients in a multi-specialty unit.
• Monitor telemetry and dialysis patients, ensuring safe and effective care.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility and teamwork.
• Support patient recovery by managing pain, mobility, and preventing complications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, dress code, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Active Alabama or Compact RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the telemetry or medical-surgical field.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a PCU or telemetry unit preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfort with electronic medical records, specifically Meditech.
